Membership Information

Club Type

Open to all interested parties (18 & older)

There is a meeting/breakfast fee of $5.00 for guests on their first visit; subsequent visits are $8.00. This fee pays for the room and a complete buffet style breakfast with beverages. This amount includes the tax and gratuity.

Membership Dues

One time sign up fee (Starter Kit): $20

Twice a year club fee: $20

Twice a year Toastmasters Int'l fee: $27 ($4.50 per month)

i.e. if you join in June, your TI fee would be 4 months @ $4.50 = $18

therefore your total membership dues would be: $20+$20+$18 = $58

Meeting Fee

Each time you attend a meeting, you will pay $8. This fee pays for the room and a complete buffet style breakfast with beverages. This amount includes the tax and gratuity. The restaurant management does a head count of every person present at the meeting and there is no exception to this agreement we have with Piccadilly Cafeteria.

Attendance Requirements

There are no minimum attendance requirements although your progress as a Toastmaster will depend on the frequency of your participation at our meetings. 

Membership Application

After each meeting, there is an opportunity for guests to complete the membership application and become a Gelfand Toastmaster right away! A Club Officer will assist you with the application. We will also send your application & money to Toastmasters International in California. Within two weeks, you will receive your starter kit from TI which will include the manual for the first 10 speeches called “Competent Communication” and the manual for participating in various club roles called “Competent Leadership”.
